Cristiano Meira
Senior Nuke Compositor/Lead Compositor/Compositing Supervisor
Cristiano Meira is a VFX compositor with over two decades of experience across episodics and feature films. Based in New York City, he works selectively with studios and VFX supervisors whose projects push the craft forward.
His recent credits include Hulu's Love Story, Apple TV+'s Severance, and The Devil Wears Prada 2, currently in production. Over the course of his career, he has built a strong track record across feature films and episodic projects in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City.
Cristiano's path through the industry has been defined by curiosity and range. He began his career managing VFX productions in São Paulo, Brazil, then pivoted to become a Flame Artist on commercials and music videos, collaborating with a wide roster of directors and clients. A move to Los Angeles in 2010 to study Nuke at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects sharpened his technical foundation and deepened his commitment to the craft.
Today, Cristiano brings that full spectrum of experience — artistic sensibility and technical depth — to every project he takes on. He moves fluidly between compositing, lead compositing, and comp supervising, adapting to what each production needs.
